The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech II performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS)
The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech III performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner. Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the automated dispensing system (ADS). Has advanced knowledge and skills in two or more specialty areas in the pharmacy.
Pharmacy Technician
Required Qualifications:
H.S. Diploma or GED Upon hire: Montana Pharmacy Technician License Or Upon hire: Montana Pharmacy Technician Temporary Practice Permit Or Upon hire: Montana Pharmacy Technician Provisional License Minimum of one year (> 2080 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system and current PTCB certification - OR - 2 years (>4160 hours) hospital pharmacy if not PTCB certifiedPreferred Qualifications:
Coursework/Training Pharmacy technician program Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR)Available opportunities:

Senior Pharmacy Technician

Diploma or GED Upon hire: Montana Pharmacy Technician License Upon hire: Montana Pharmacy Technician Temporary Practice Permit Minimum of 2 years (> 4160 clock hours) of pharmacy practice in an integrated health system and PTCB certification - OR - 3 years (> 6240 hours) hospital pharmacy if technician does not have PTCB certification Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR)Preferred Qualifications:
Coursework/Training Pharmacy technician program Advanced PTCB certificate (e.g., compounded sterile products, advanced certified pharmacy technician, medication history certificate, controlled substances)Available opportunities:
