Job Description
Accurately fill and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Perform data entry of prescription information, including patient details, medication, and dosage. Verify and double-check prescriptions for accuracy and maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality. Assist pharmacists with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications. Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers. Adhere to all pharmacy laws and regulations. Participate in continuous education and training programs to stay current with pharmacy practices.
ResponsibilitiesAccurately fill and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.Perform data entry of prescription information, including patient details, medication, and dosage.Verify and double-check prescriptions for accuracy and maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality.Assist pharmacists with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications.Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers.Adhere to all pharmacy laws and regulations.Participate in continuous education and training programs to stay current with pharmacy practices.Essential SkillsHIGHLY PREFFERED SPANISH speaking candidate Pharmacy knowledgeData entry skillsFulfillment experiencePrior authorization knowledgeCurrent, active, and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of ArizonaMinimum of 1 year of experience, 2 years preferredCertified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferredExperience with insurance and retail pharmacyAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in Long Term Care, 340B, or Retail PharmacyExperience in data entry, fulfillment, and customer servicePrevious experience in a pharmacy setting, particularly in filling and dispensing rolesStrong attention to detail and accuracyGood communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of pharmacy software systems is a plusPay
$18-$21 (Depending on experience)

Mon - Thurs: 8am -4:30pm
Friday: 8am - 12:30pm
