Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

Accurately fill and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Perform data entry of prescription information, including patient details, medication, and dosage. Verify and double-check prescriptions for accuracy and maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality. Assist pharmacists with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications. Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers. Adhere to all pharmacy laws and regulations. Participate in continuous education and training programs to stay current with pharmacy practices.

ResponsibilitiesAccurately fill and dispense prescription medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.Perform data entry of prescription information, including patient details, medication, and dosage.Verify and double-check prescriptions for accuracy and maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.Assist pharmacists with inventory management, including ordering and stocking medications.Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers.Adhere to all pharmacy laws and regulations.Participate in continuous education and training programs to stay current with pharmacy practices.Essential SkillsCurrent, active, and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona.Minimum 1 year of experience, with 2 years preferred.Experience in data entry and fulfillment.Excellent data entry skills.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsBilingual Spanish strongly preferred.Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred.Experience in Long Term Care, 340B, or Retail Pharmacy.Knowledge of pharmacy software systems is a plus.Work Environment

Closed door pharmacy, Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Friday 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Contribute to patient health and well-being with accurate and timely medication delivery. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00
