Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacist in our Central Fill pharmacy. The role involves manual entry, picking and replenishing products for filling, packing, running automated sorting and counting equipment, filling bottles and cells with prescribed tablets and capsules, and applying prescription labels to bottles and boxes. The Pharmacy Technician will also assist in preparing and dispensing medication, receiving and storing incoming supplies, counting stock, maintaining inventory records, and cleaning equipment.

ResponsibilitiesAssist Pharmacist in Central Fill pharmacy operations.Perform manual entry and product replenishment for filling and packing.Run automated sorting and counting equipment.Fill bottles and cells with prescribed tablets and capsules.Apply prescription labels to bottles and boxes.Assist in preparing and dispensing medication.Receive and store incoming supplies.Count stock and maintain inventory records.Clean equipment and complete forms as directed.Assist in stocking shelves and maintaining inventory.Essential SkillsPharmacy Technician License requiredMinimum of 1 year of pharmacy operations experienceHigh School Diploma or Equivalent requiredWork Environment

This role is based in a closed-door pharmacy. Training is provided with a schedule of Mondays from 9am-7:30pm, and Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 11am-9:30pm for the first 90 days. The full-time schedule includes Mondays from 9am-7:30pm, Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 11am-9:30pm, and Saturdays from 8am-6:30pm. required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00
