Is that you?_ **Work location:** Texas Health HEB 1600 Hospital Parkway TX 76022 **Work hours:** Full time (40hours) Evening shift **Pharmacy Department highlights:** · Team based environment · Workplace culture 2 nd to none · Great benefits/ 401k / PTO · We operate on lean principles and rely heavily on a team atmosphere and individual performance · Highly engaged Pharmacy management **Education** · High School Diploma or Equivalent Required **Experience** · 1 year pharmacy tech experience in healthcare setting preferred **Licenses and Certifications** · RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician Upon Hire Required And Other IV Certification Preferred **What You Will Do** · Timely and accurate preparation, delivery to the nursing units/appropriate departments & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so, varies by location. · Ensuring accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation. Must reflect consistently departmental quality improvement and Patient Safety standards, programs, and initiatives. · Ongoing professional development and growth, leads by example, perpetuates accountability, manages own time. · Communicate effectively, develop positive working relationships and role model teamwork that reflects the Texas Health Promise Behaviors. Trains new employees on routine tasks, under the direction of designated personnel. · Shares the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage) and discovering new process efficiencies. · Other duties as assigned.
