Pharmacy Technician Lead

*Description*
Summary:
This is an entry level position into leadership by serving as the person overseeing and directing the day-to-day operations of the practice setting within their respective pharmacy and pharmacy practice. The lead technician will ensure services are provided in timely, safe and cost-effective manner according to department policies, procedures, and practice standards.
Responsibilities:
Essential Responsibilities
1. Performs all duties of the pharmacy technician they are leading serving as a role model for exceptional performance.
2. Provides oversight to ensure standard procedures are followed.
3. Evaluates and monitors team performance by auditing, tracking & trending, and educating and training.
4. Communicates feedback from observed performance and audits to leadership.
5. Directs and motivates individual daily performance toward organizational and departmental goals.
6. Develops schedule in coordination & approval of leadership. Also manages daily assignments.
7. Develops technician workflow in collaboration with pharmacists, technicians, & leadership.
8. Trains and orients new staff. Ensure required documentation is completed and approved by leadership.
9. Runs technician meetings.
10. Assist with reviewing, writing, and creating policy & procedures.
11. Models and Maintains Nuvance values.
12. Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Effort: Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force
