 Job Summary

To assist in drug preparation, drug storage, drug distribution, drug inventory, and required record keeping under the supervision of a Pharmacist.  To include aseptically compounding parenteral admixtures.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Completion of Pharmacy Technician Vocational Technical program preferred. 

Certification/Licensure/Registrations

Certified Pharmacy Technician by the National Pharmacy Technician Certification Board required. Registration with the South Dakota Board of Pharmacy required within 30 days of employment.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.  

$18.50 – $25.75 per hour
