Required qualifications:
Virginia Pharmacy Technician license CPhT license through PTCB or NHA -required if licensed in VA after 7/1/2021Preferred qualifications:
1 year Pharmacy Technician experience Long Term Care Pharmacy experienceJob responsibilities:
Prepare medications under the direction of a pharmacistMeasure, mix, count out, label, and record amounts and dosages of medications according to prescription ordersResponsible for managing the drug distribution system and providing technical support in all aspects of the delivery of safe, effective, patient-focused, and cost-efficient drug therapyAbout Sentara
