therapy We also have an American Society of Health System Pharmacists ASHP accredited Pharmacy Residency program an active Oncology infusion service and a RetailSpecialty outpatient pharmacyThe Sterile Products Pharmacy Technicians assist Pharmacists in the preparation of non hazardous and hazardous oncology sterile medications Responsibilities include but are not limited to the followingPrepares non hazardous sterile product preparations eg IV medications adhering to department SOPsPrepares hazardous sterile product preparations eg chemo therapy medications using all appropriate personal protective equipment adhering to department SOPsProperly uses all IV room equipment to prepare assigned compounds in a sterile environmentAssists with cleaning of IV and anterooms as assignedRecords all required environmental monitoring of IV workspace as assignedRestocks IV rooms with an appropriate amount of supplies to meet USP standards and expectations as assignedMaintains
