Diploma or Equivalent + Pharmacy Technician Trainee through Texas State Board (required) + RPhT - Registered Pharmacy Technician within 6 months (required) + Proficiency in written and verbal English language, computer, and basic math **Here’s What You Will Do:** A **_Pharmacy Tech Trainee_** with Texas Health will ensure accuracy of one's own work as well as the maintenance of required competencies, and other documentation. Must also reflect consistently departmental QI and PS standards, programs and initiatives. In addition to the required qualifications, a successful **_Pharmacy Tech Trainee_** will + provide timely and accurate preparation, delivery & storage of medications, including (when appropriate) the use of technology to do so. + communicate effectively, develop working relationships and role model teamwork. + manages own time and share the responsibility for minimizing pharmaceutical costs (including wastage). + complete other duties as assigned.
