Summary:

The Project Coordinator will coordinate monthly team meetings with subcontractors to review progress in (a) recruiting participants, (b) implementing various components of the model, (c) collecting and reporting participant-level data on a regular basis, and (d) identifying concerns, opportunities, and strategies for addressing barriers to care and services based on project specifics.

The Project Coordinator will participate in cross-site meetings of all stakeholders for information-sharing and group assessment of progress and concerns. The Project Coordinator will work closely with the program data monitoring and assessment coordinator in data collection and data analysis activities.

The Project Coordinator will have strong disciplinary skills, knowledge of community resources, research, and evaluation knowledge, and be grounded in the community.

Project Coordinator responsibilities include:

Job Responsibilities: 

1) Administration Duties:
Review information collected on the project. Meeting preparation, facilitation, and follow-up with partners, school personnel, families, significant stakeholders, and service providers as needed. Collect and report participant-level data on a regular basis. Identify concerns, opportunities, and strategies for addressing barriers to care and services. Work closely with the data monitoring and assessment coordinator in data collection and data analysis activities

2) Assessment and Evaluation Management Duties:
Utilizes material from the initial evaluation and information from other team members to develop plans. Communicates as necessary with community agency providers to explain progress towards goals. Consults with other project stakeholders to facilitate communication and the effectiveness of the program. Revises the plan through ongoing assessments of progress and new information.

3) Networking Duties:
Build strong relationships within the community to expand health initiatives. Break down silos – Prevent duplication of services – Develop sustainable replicable program

Required Work Experience: 

1) Coordination of service agencies/Community-based programs/ Needs assessment and data collection

2)  Experience in adolescent health and behavior, and/or youth development, and/or health education programs

Preferred Work Experience: 

1) None Listed

Skills and Competencies: 

1) Bi-lingual (Spanish) preferred
