Structure: Paid program of nine-month duration
Eligibility: PhD Scholars registered with any university in India or abroad in a relevant academic discipline, currently employed or doing projects in specifically identified areas (Currently pursuing PhD).

Work with the Vehicle Geometrical Architecture (VGA) Team under Vehicle Strategy & Integration Department in Group Trucks Technology, Vehicle Engineering, Bengaluru Work as a Research Scholar (PhD.) and develop the Road Map for Flexible Cables Simulations – Methodology for Mechanical Simulations Investigate and Analyse existing Standard Simulation Protocols and device strategic Roadmaps based on exhaustive corelation trials across different tools and Methods. Device co-relation and test methods to validate Physical Vs Simulation result interpretation. Create standard boundary condition protocols & Material Database optimization for simulation methods. Collaborate with Volvo’s best minds on the subject matter to work on niche problem statements that need strategic direction from a Research point of view. Who are you?

Proven Academic / Industrial experience in Mechanical simulations in the areas of Static & Dynamic Loading, Durability, Vibrations and Computational Fluid Dynamics Proven Academic / Industrial experience in Material testing / co-relation for simulation use cases. Exposure and basic understanding of Automotive design and testing requirements. Exposure and understanding on non-metallic material testing for load and durability.
