Education:

A high school diploma or GED

Requirements:

1 year of phlebotomy experience preferred

Responsibilities:

Performs venipuncture, heel sticks, and finger sticks to obtain blood samples for testing purposes.Properly identifies patients and follows procedures for collection of specimens. Processes and receives specimens into the laboratory, following laboratory protocol for specimen acceptability and rejection.Assists with clerical duties and processing as needed. Performs other related functions as assigned.
