Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist to join our team at a patient service center where you will draw blood from patients. This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy a change of scenery and in-state travel.
ResponsibilitiesPerform blood draws using straight needles and butterfly needles for hard sticks.Draw blood from infants and pediatric patients.Process and handle blood specimens accurately.Ensure proper identification and labeling of samples.Maintain a clean and organized work area.Essential SkillsProficiency in phlebotomy techniques.Experience with straight needle blood draws.Ability to use butterfly needles for hard sticks.Bilingual in Spanish.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with infant blood draws is a plus.3 years of experience in drawing blood is preferred but less experience will be considered.Work Environment
This position requires working 30.5 - 36.5 hours per week with the following shifts: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1pm to 6:30pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 1pm to 8pm, and rotating Saturdays from 7:30am to 1:30pm. No holiday or vacation work is required.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
