The Phlebotomist also organizes specimen collection requests, performs patient clinical laboratory specimen collection procedures, specimen transport, specimen processing, testing dispersal, point-of-care testing procedures, and other pre-analytic functions following established standards and practices. **Education and/or Experience** + High school diploma or general education degree (GED required. + Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred. **Licensure/Certification/Registration** + Requires a valid driver’s license and that the employee is insurable by the Avera Health automobile liability insurance carrier. + Certification as a Phlebotomist Technician (PBT) from the ASCP preferred. **Work Schedule** Monday Friday from 7am - 2pm No weekends or holidays. **Pay** The hourly range for this position is listed below.
