We are looking for a dedicated Phlebotomist Nights like you to be a part of our team. **Job Summary and Qualifications** The Phlebotomist uses appropriate safety policies, collects specimens on patients of all ages while maintaining a strong emphasis on patient satisfaction. You serve as a key position of the interdependent team, and hold responsibility for achieving positive patient and departmental outcomes.What you will do in this role:· You will promote consistent and positive patient interactions that advance the agenda of unparalleled patient service.· You will perform specimen collection while following the established policies and procedures of the Clinical Laboratory.· You will instruct patients on proper specimen collection procedures.· You will work efficiently and communicate effectively under stressful conditions and time constraints.· You must maintain strict confidentiality of work-related information.· You will practice good infection control by hand washing, wearing personal protective equipment, for the protection of patient and self while maintaining a neat, well-kept work areaWhat Qualifications you will need:Licensure/Certification/Registration: Phlebotomy certificate preferredEducation: High school diploma or equivalent.Experience: One year hospital experience (including venipuncture experience) preferred.Familiarity with a hospital laboratory is desired.
