We are currently seeking a Phlebotomist Float to work on our hospital team at **Swedish First Hill,** a 500+ bed Quaternary care facility in downtown Seattle. As a float, you may be asked to work at **Swedish Cherry Hill, Ballard,** and **Issaquah** hospital campuses as needed. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service and perform skilled specimen collections. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization.
**Pay Range:** $21.44 to $31.65 per hour plus differential
**Float Incentive** : $2.00/hourly
**Work Schedule:** Sunday to Wednesday, 10:00 PM - 8:30 AM (4x10)
**Work Location:** Swedish First Hill, Cherry Hill, Ballard, and Issaquah hospitals
**Benefits:** Regular, full-time or part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), accrue up to 18 days of Annual Leave per year (includes 8 holidays) and Sick Leave (0.0333) hours of sick leave for each hour of work) capped at 64 hours per year, Tuition Reimbursement and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
**Job** **Duties/Responsibilities:**
+ Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups
+ Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.
+ Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely manner
+ Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis
+ Follow strict Standard Operating Procedures.
+ Provide superior customer service to all patients
+ Administrative and clerical duties as necessary
**Job Requirements:**

+ Must have valid Washington issued Phlebotomy License or have an application for Phlebotomy License filed with Washington Department of Health at time of hire
+ Previous experience as a phlebotomist preferred
+ Must be at least 21 years old
+ Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
+ Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
+ Ability to work independently or in a team environment
+ Comfortable working under minimal supervision
+ Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
+ Flexibility to work overtime as needed
+ Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
