Phlebotomist - FT - Night Shift

**The Phlebotomist is responsible for:**
+ Draws and collects blood samples from patients, verifies records and prepares specimens for laboratory analysis.
+ May prick finger to draw blood.
+ May conduct interviews, take vital signs, and draw and test blood samples to screen donors at blood bank.
+ Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
+ Works under immediate supervision.
+ Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
**Education/License/ Certification:**
+ Requires a high school diploma and/or GED.
+ Requires completion of a phlebotomy technician training or education program.
+ Requires employee to possess a CPT certification (Certified Phlebotomy Technician).
+ Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
**Experience/Skills:**
+ Minimum 1 year of experience preferred.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
+ Must possess a positive attitude and good time management skills.
+ Cerner charting experience is a plus.

+ Full time night shift position (10:00pm - 6:30am)
