Responsible for drawing blood from patients in a hospital setting and prepares specimens for screening, analysis, or other medical purposes. 

Principal Accountabilities:

Performs venipuncture on patients of all age groups in both hospital and outpatient settings.

Is able to work independently with minimal supervision to manage workflow and meet expected turnaround time.

Is able to think critically and utilize proper resources to collect specimen requirement information to ensure accurate results and minimize delays in testing.

Possesses and demonstrates exceptional customer service and patient care skills.

Performs other related duties as assigned.
