What you will need:

License: N/AEducation: High school diploma or GED preferred or equivalent work experienceCertification: CPR-BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider required and PBT (ASCP) certification preferredExperience: Phlebotomy training experience strongly preferredSkills: Good communication and organization skills, moderate computer skills needed, reliable transportation to travel between sites required, strong customer service skills.

What you will do:

Perform a variety of routine and special phlebotomy procedures as authorized by the Manager/DirectorResponsible for ordering tests into the Laboratory and Hospital computer systems and documenting Lab receipt of specimensCollect patient specimens in accordance with test requirements and in a manner which is appropriate for the age and/or specific patient population servedCollect blood samples for specific tests ensuring volume is adequate and correct tubes are utilized
