Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Phlebotomist II to join our team in Suwanee. The successful candidate will have experience with blood draws, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data, decontamination, and updating patient information. You will be responsible for collecting and storing specimens according to established procedures, explaining the venipuncture process clearly and courteously, and demonstrating techniques using straight and butterfly needles. You will match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes, label and process specimens as required, and ensure all test requisitions are correct. Additionally, you will package specimens for transport, store them at the required temperature, and comply with OSHA and DEP regulations. Other duties include attending annual department trainings, answering telephone calls, and reading laboratory results to satisfy inquiries.
Hard Skills
+ 3+ years of recent Phlebotomy experience
+ Geriatrics and Pediatrics experience

Job Type
This is a contract position with a duration of 13 Weekly.
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Suwanee, Georgia.
Work Environment
This position is to cover the site for FMLA for a 3-month contract, with potential to extend and convert. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
