Perform a variety of specimen collection techniques from patients in an outpatient setting. Additional duties specific to a location may include: reception, collection of billing information, specimen processing and client and customer service duties. A phlebotomist maintains a professional relationship with patients, clients and peers. A phlebotomist must also be able to exemplify Trios' standard of excellence in customer service. Performs all tasks in accordance with the Company's safety and compliance programs. Minimum Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent, WA state Medical Assistant-Phlebotomist Certification. At least 6 months or more of recent, directly related experience to include 3 months practicum gained in a clinical, hospital or laboratory setting.
Qualifications and requirements:
WA STATE MA-PHLEBOTOMIST OR MA-C LICENSE High School Graduation or equivalent Required Associate's degree or two-years of college Preferred AT LEAST 6 MONTHS OF RECENT, DIRECTLY RELATED EXPERIENCE TO INCLUDE 3 MONTHS PHLEBOTOMY PRACTICUM GAINED IN A CLINICAL, HOSPITAL OR LAB SETTING.Benefits:
