**JOB SUMMARY** **Location BSWH Medical Center Irving TX** **Department Laboratory** **Shift Night 7on7off** **Preferred Experience Must have at least 3 yrs. of hospital inpatient and outpatient experience** **Must have a Phlebotomy Tech Cert from one of these agencies: ASCP, NPA, ASPT, NCCT, NHA, AMT, NAHP, AMCA, AAH,** **Donor Phlebotomy Tech** **or ACA** The Phlebotomist 3 collects and processes quality specimens in a safe manner as outlined in BSWH policies and procedures. Aids in the delivery of exceptional patient care. Assists with training and auditing of behaviors and performance, as assigned. Diploma/GED Equivalent + EXPERIENCE - 2 Years of Experience + CERTIFICATION/LICENSE/REGISTRATION - Donor Phlebotomy Tech-ASCP (DPT), Phlebotomy Technician (PBT): Must have a Phlebotomy Tech Cert from one of these agencies: ASCP, NPA, ASPT, NCCT, NHA, AMT, NAHP, AMCA, AAH or ACA. OR Donor Phlebotomy Tech certification from the ASCP.
