The Phlebotomist is responsible for the collection of blood via the appropriate location and method from patients of all ages in a timely manner for laboratory testing.
The Phlebotomist explains collection procedures and provides general testing information as needed to facilitate patient understanding and reduce patient anxiety.
The Phlebotomist calms and reassures patients who are anxious or apprehensive about having blood drawn.
The Phlebotomist is responsible for limited bedside testing.
Able to complete work with little or no supervision, seeks advice when needed.
Able to multitask with minimum errors.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
