Provides efficient, accurate, and courteous service for PAMC patients or residents of Nursing Home Clients.  Provides accurate and timely collection and receiving of specimens for all patients in accordance with medical center and laboratory policies and procedures, and Federal/State regulations.  Performs bedside tests (bleeding times) as requested.

Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 10-hr Variable shifts, 40 hours per week.

Required qualifications:

H.S. Diploma or GEDupon hire: National Phlebotomy Technician - National Organization. Orupon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification. Orupon hire: National Laboratory Tech - United States Government. Orupon hire: National Emergency Medical Technician - National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. Orupon hire: Alaska Alaska Emergency Medical Technician License - State of Alaska Department of Health 

Preferred qualifications:

Phlebotomy experience.
