As a Phlebotomy Supervisor you will lead a team of Phlebotomists and directly impact the Patient/Client experience. You will manage and oversee all aspects of our LabCorp patient service centers and designated client locations. This role emphasizes your ability to lead, inspire, and develop others. Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, additional days and hours may be required.

Supervises the activities of 20-25 Patient Service Technicians and the operations of Patient Service Centers according to established policies and procedures.
Skill RequirementsAdministrative: Ability to relate professionally with people, analytical abilities, compose letters/memorandum, coordinate events, motivate others, organizational skills, research information, time management, train employees, written and verbal communications, supervisory skills.
Machine: Calculator, personal computer.
Physical Demands: Speech clarity, utilization of fingers and hands, standing-remaining on one’s feet in an upright position, sitting-remaining in the normal seated position, handling-seizing, holding, grasping, with some lifting up to 30 pounds.
Working Conditions: Possible exposure to infection from disease-bearing specimens; regularly exposed to the risk of blood-borne diseases; must comply with applicable safety procedures.
Vision Requirements: Far acuity-ability to see clearly at 20 feet or more; near acuity-ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less; depth perception-ability to judge distance and space relationships; color vision-ability to distinguish and identify different colors.
License/Certification/Education: A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred w/1-3 years of experience in related field. Requires a valid personnel license or certification if such license or certification is required by Federal, State or Local laws. Normally requires a Valid Driver’s License along with a clean driving record.
Job Responsibilities:
Supervise a team of (+25) phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician's offices.Manage patient flow, wait times, and inventory levels and information logs.Monitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessaryCoordinate phlebotomists' schedules through resourceful and creative thinkingPerform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraisalsPartner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and disciplinary actionsHire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positionsCommunicate effectively to internal and external customers including patients, client office staff, sales team, logistics and senior managementProvide exceptional customer service to all patients and clientsAssist in the set-up of new Patient Service Centers or Client OfficesProvide resolution of any patient or client issuesPerform, collect and prepare specimens when needed.Travel to additional sites as necessaryJob Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalentPrior experience in a leadership positionPhlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferredPrevious experience as a phlebotomist is highly preferredMust be at least 21 years’ old and have a Valid Driver's License and good driving recordProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionReliable transportation and clean driving record if applicableFlexibility to work overtime as neededAble to pass a standardized color blindness test.If you're looking for a career that offers opportunities for growth, continual
