Phlebotomy/ Certified Medical Assisting Instructor (Part Time)

Under the general supervision of the Director of EduConnect, the instructor will design and instruct the didactic and clinical components of a state approved phlebotomy training curriculum. Responsibilities Teach phlebotomy and clinical medical assistant classes using established accredited curricula. Provide hands-on phlebotomy and clinical medical assistant skills training. Provide motivational coaching, accountability, professionalism coaching, and general support to all students. Prepare students to take the National Healthcare Association (NHA) exam; support those who fail to retest successfully. Prepare students for a successful career in the phlebotomy and/or clinical medical assistant fields. Maintain student attendance and grades; communicate student performance needs to the Success Coach. Assist with changes to curricula and lesson plans to incorporate approved/relevant online and digital content, new textbooks, new testing software, new instructor resources, and new equipment.
