Phlebotomy Site Coordinator

We are seeking a Patient Service Center (PSC) Site Coordinator to join our team in Murfreesboro, TN.

This position will be responsible for the coordination and oversight of activities of Patient Service Centers within an assigned area.  The PSC Coordinator will work closely with the PSC staff, management, as well as the laboratory staff and clients to ensure optimal operation of the Patient Service Center.  The position will also perform phlebotomy and specimen processing procedures at LabCorp Patient Service Centers under minimal supervision.

Work Schedule: Work schedule may vary. Monday– Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm. On call as needed on weekdays and weekends between 2pm -5am. May cover Saturday collections as needed 5am -8am. The hours/location may change/vary based on business need and/or the request(s) of your supervisor or management.

Work Location: Murfreesboro, TN. Travel as needed to cover other locations including but not limited to: Franklin, Brentwood, Lebanon, Mt Juliet, Cookeville, Sparta, McMinnville, Nashville

Job Responsibilities:

Observe and report any performance, compliance or staffing related issues to supervisorsManage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logsMonitor monthly productivity reports and report any deviations as necessaryAddress any customer service related issues in a prompt and respectful mannerPromote team work, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkersPerform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groupsCollect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests etc.Perform data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerProcess billing information and collect payments when requiredPrepare all collected specimens for testing and analysisAdministrative and clerical duties as necessaryTravel to additional sites when needed

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalentMinimum 1 year of experience as a phlebotomistPrior experience is a leadership position is a plusMust have a Valid Driver's License and good driving recordMust be at least 21 years’ oldPhlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferredIn depth knowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniquesProven track record in providing exceptional customer serviceStrong communication skills; both written and verbalAbility to work independently or in a team environmentComfortable working under minimal supervisionReliable transportation and clean driving record if applicableFlexibility to work overtime as neededAble to pass a standardized color blindness test
