Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent is requiredAssociates or Bachelor’s degree preferredPhlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is a plusPrevious experience as a phlebotomist; 4 years is preferredPrior supervisor experience strongly preferredDemonstrated leadership skills and the ability to lead othersAbility to effectively manage time and prioritize dutiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsValid driver’s license and good driving recordWorking knowledge of MS Office

From leading our Phlebotomists, to going above and beyond to ensure all patients and clients have an optimum experience, as a Phlebotomy Supervisor you will plan, manage and direct all aspects of our LabCorp patient service centers and designated client locations.  The territory for this supervisory position will cover Raleigh NC.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (need to be flexible as hours may extend pass this timeframe)

Job Responsibilities:

Supervise a team of phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician’s officesManage patient flow, wait times, and inventory levels and information logsMonitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessaryCoordinate phlebotomists’ schedules through resourceful and creative thinkingPerform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraisalsPartner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and disciplinary actionsHire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positionsCommunicate effectively to internal and external customers including patients, client office staff, sales team, logistics and senior managementProvide exceptional customer service to all patients and clientsAssist in the set-up of new Patient Service Centers or Client OfficesProvide resolution of any patient or client issuesPerform, collect and prepare specimens when neededTravel to additional sites as necessary
