Photo Identification (ID) Clerk
Overview Collects and updates demographic data for clients requesting Cherokee Nation Photo ID's. Photographs clients and captures signatures required to produce a Photo ID. Verifies information in Registration database for accuracy and completeness. Scans ancestry (CDIB-Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood) information and attaches to client's record in the Registration database. Builds graphical ancestry chart in the Registration database based on the client's CDIB. Qualifications EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and less than one year of specialized training or education. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT At least two (2) years' experience in a related field. COMPUTER SKILLS An individual should have knowledge of Database software, Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Must possess a valid driver's license with a driving history verified through a motor vehicle report that meets requirements for Cherokee Nation underwriting rating. OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES Airline travel is required. A+ Certification is desired. Ability to type 35 words per minute may be required and if so, must be verified by successfully completing a typing test. Must have the ability to operate standard office machines. Must have the ability to deal professionally and pleasantly with the public. OTHER QUALIFICATIONS Employee must not and will not be under sanction by the United States Department of Health and Human Services Office of the Inspector General (OIG) or by the General Services Administration (GSA) or listed on the OIG’s Cumulative Sanction Report, or the GSA’s List of Excluded Providers, or listed on the OIG’s List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE). PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stand; climb or balance; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
