Position Title: Studio Operations Manager – AE & Aerie Brand
Position Summary:
AEO Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager for our internal photo studio, responsible for overseeing the operational efficiency of the studio, including equipment, props, space management and technology updates. This person will collaborate with many cross-functional teams to ensure that the studio is set up to support the highest level of execution for the AE and Aerie brands. This role is dynamic and will evolve over time as we identify areas for growth and improvement. Responsibilities may shift and expand as the position develops and as the successful candidate takes on new challenges.
Responsibilities:
Equipment Management: Ensure the studio equipment is maintained in good working order. Coordinate repairs and upgrades as needed Own and maintain budget to support all EQ needs Develop a process for check out/check in as well as maintain EQ storage closet Quickly address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during shoots Space Management: Maintain a state of the art studio space Ensure organization and upkeep is a focus for the internal teams and our facilities management partners Assess current space and provide options for better flow and use of space Assist in set up and tear down for all shoots Work with Global Health, Safety and Security team to ensure the studio is up to code in all areas of business Technology Management: Support team needs around computers, servers, Capture One, digital storage, etc. Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize photo studio workflows, ensuring timely and high-quality visual content production Additional responsibilities could be taken on as they ariseQualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Marketing, or a related field Proven experience in a leadership role within a high-volume photo studio or creative production environment Strong background in both operational management and photography, demonstrating a balance of technical and organizational skills Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with a track record of building and leading successful teams Proficient in project management and resource planning Deep experience in the retail industryPay/Benefits Information:
Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.
