The Photo Studio Producer is accountable for the organization and management of photo shoots, from creative handoff to post production. They will act as the central point of contact for all participating teams and are responsible for designing revised budgets to plan, execute shoots, as well as coordinating the talent, staff, location, and equipment.

This is an on-site position based out of our Photo Studio in Chicago, Illinois

A day in the life as a Photo Studio Producer…

Accountable for tracking and managing each photo shoot budgetResponsible for management of photo shoot staffIn collaboration with Senior Producer, establish and execute on photo shoot timelines and schedulesAct as the liaison between internal and external photo shoot teamsCultivate pool of national and international talent
Establish, research, and implement best in class operating standardsSecure necessary insurance, permits and security needs for location shootsProvide access to the photography studio for staff; open and close studio, as neededCoordinate and facilitate the organization of photo shoot teams to manage the shoot, and execute the translation of creative direction for the shoot

What you’ll bring to the table…

Photography industry production knowledgeAbility to direct the execution of creative concepts with fiscal and creative accountabilityKnowledge of local Chicago vendors, industry contacts, including caterers, photography equipment providers, truck companies, art movers, prop housesStrong organizational / multi-tasking skills to manage input from cross functional teamsExtremely detail-orientedExcellent communication skills coupled with strong interpersonal/negotiation skills

We’d love to hear from you if you have…

3 years experience of photography production and studio operations a must Bachelor’s degreeKnowledge of Marketing photography industry standards and processesExperience and Experience with negotiation and management of crew

Minimum Starting Rate: $60,000.00 Annually

Up to: $80,000.00 Annually

Pay ranges will be adjusted upward as needed to comply with applicable state and local law. In addition to your salary, based on your role, associates may be eligible for other compensation including bonuses, sales incentives, and long term incentives.
