Photography Editor and Account Manager

Pitchup.com receives 40m annual visits and over the last year has booked over 5m bed nights. The site has been featured in leading global media titles, such as BBC News, New York Times, Le Figaro, and more, and has been translated into 16 languages. You will join a nimble team of 60 based in 10 countries, all working from home, as we are a 100% remote business. We are looking for a skilled Photography Editor and Account Manager immediately available to join us on a freelance basis for the next 3 months over our busy season to help deliver a key project (with the possibility of extending the contract after this time). You will spend your day reviewing customers' listings, enhancing primary images and contacting them to help optimise their photo gallery to attract the attention of the holidaymakers About the role  Working through an extensive file of accommodation listings, you will: + Administer the image galleries including quality checks + Analyse photo galleries and contact/chase customers to assist them in uploading good quality and comprehensive images to their photo galleries + Sort and select the best images to represent the accommodation listing on our customer portal + Ensure the primary image is the best quality; editing the image when necessary + Communicate regularly with our campsite list until the required images are added to their listings + Maintain campsite progress records + We estimate that half of the time you will review and enhance photos, and half of the time you will contact sites by phone and email to help them add all the photos that are required to their listing. About you + Able to work full time during the next 3 months (9am-5pm Monday to Friday) + You will be able to start immediately, happy to work within the UK time zone and on a self-employed basis + Track record of improving/modifying a high volume of pictures for e-commerce websites or proven work experience administering/managing/editing images within a professional environment + Experience working with online portals or SaaS solutions + Travel or accommodation photography experience + Excellent Adobe Lightroom Classic skills are required and Adobe Photoshop experience would be a plus. Please note you will need your own access to Lightroom software + Excellent organisational skills, eye for detail and strong communication skills, including an excellent telephone manner + Internet savvy and technologically astute - you will need to understand our photography technical requirements and upload process, and provide support to campsite owners + Experience with a high volume of outbound calls and emails  + Experience with account management, customer support or administrative duties + Previous experience working with outdoor images would be an advantage, with an instinct on how to sort, select and edit photos including landscapes and outdoor accommodation + A BSc degree in photography, visual arts, digital media or related field would be an asset Hourly rate will be £15 per hour depending on experience, to be invoiced monthly.
