POSITION SUMMARY:
The Photography Specialist assists photographers in the studio as well as location. Acts as support for photographers, photography manager, and other photography staff.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Helps maintain equipment and clean studio as needed.
Helps in the construction of sets, including painting and carpentry.
Loads and unloads equipment vehicles for location shoots.
Ensures that all studio vehicles are kept clean and organized.
Maintains and organizes studio equipment and props.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Partners with production staff to achieve creative vision in studio and/or location.
Works with Production team to build sets for production needs.
Organizes and prepares equipment for location shoots.
Drives a truck with trailer.
Straps down equipment, onto trailers with a mind on safety.
Hardworking, positive attitude and passion for the job.
Must be in good physical condition and able to travel out of town on occasion.

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.F.A or B.S.) from accredited institution OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificate(s) or License(s): Must have a valid driver’s license and an excellent driving record.
Experience: 3 years or more of photography experience, Photography studio and location experience required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
Boating licensing a plus, will be acquired on the job, if not possessed.
Hunting and Fishing Experience
Basic understanding of Photography and computers.
Should be organized and detail oriented.
Working knowledge of Professional DSLR cameras
Knowledgeable with studio strobe lighting equipment
Proficient with Apple Computers
Self-driven, continually motivated with strong communication skills
Team player that is open minded to new ideas
Ability to work on multiple projects while effectively prioritizing tasks
Knowledge of photographic techniques such as lighting and composition.
Ability to effectively problem solve
Experience working within a creative team
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional travel
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
Must be able to swim
Must be able to work at high elevations
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:
Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
