Description:
As a Photolithography Area Equipment Maintenance Supervisor with Broadcom’s Wireless Semiconductor Division (WSD), you will be responsible for managing technicians aligned to a photolithography functional area across multiple shifts, ensuring efficient operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives in our existing high volume Si MEMS production facilities located along the Front Range Mountains in Northern Colorado. You will team with numerous teams including operations and engineering teams to achieve this objective. We are looking to hire a talented, highly motivated leader responsible for challenging and rewarding work.

Responsibilities:

Lead team to deliver safe, stable and reliable equipment performance

Directly manages all four shifts of technicians (24x7) in a functional area

Conduct regular 1 on 1 meetings, recognize & reward, create individual development plans based on business needs

Own the hiring process for available technician positions

Manages the PM calendar, technician vacation calendar, resolve resource gaps in advance

Preventative Maintenance look ahead, identify opportunities for synergy, and pinch points that need resolution

Partners with Equipment Maintenance shift supervisor to resolve tactical issues

Drives organizational accountability to policies, procedures, and expectations

Lead focus teams for tool groups to drive continuous improvement

Partners with Equipment Engineering to continuously evolve and improve our equipment performance

Identify opportunities to optimize PMs, maintenance streamlining

Responsible for implementing organizational initiatives with EM Shift Supervisor support (Production readiness post maintenance work, documentation updates/improvements, CMMS accuracy, Lock Out Tag Out, escalations when necessary, PM kits, etc.) consistent with the Equipment Team standards.

Responsible for ensuring training and certification programs are in place and updated for the equipment maintenance technicians in their functional area

Identifying certification plans needed to cover the area

Identifying any gaps in the certification plan, own the roadmap to close gaps (i.e. Individual Training Plans)

Own the labor model for the area, identify and communicate staffing issues

Drives Equipment Maintenance metric adherence, generation, communication, and corrective actions for the functional area. Ensure a solid PM completion strategy (resources, lookahead, scheduling).

Identify and resolve technician efficiency challenges and equipment performance issues, using feedback from technicians/EE and direct observation.

Identify where escalations are necessary to resolve equipment issues and lead where appropriate

Skills and Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree Preferred
•    Required Associate in Applied Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or equivalent technical degree 
•    10 years of experience in Semiconductor Maintenance 
•    Preferred expertise in photolithography in a 24x7 HVM environment 
•    Preferred previous equipment maintenance management experience
•    Demonstrated technical expertise and leadership, ability to develop and mentor employees
•    Demonstrated ability to balance long-term and short-term needs, manage competing priorities
•    Data driven and results oriented
•    Ability to resolve conflict constructively
•    Excellent demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
•    Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment and deliver results. Track record of self-motivated and collaborative learning.
•    Strong cross functional teamwork skills and demonstrated ability to deliver improvements within a team environment.
•    Attention to detail is essential. Initiative to address and appropriately escalate problems to achieve rapid resolution.
•    Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required

Additional Job Description:

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $70,300 - $112,500 

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
