PHP Developer - 4 Months Temporary
Position Description:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced PHP Analyst-Developer to join our team for a 4-month temporary assignment. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the evolution and maintenance of a key Human Resources Management application while playing a crucial role in implementing innovative solutions.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

- Web Development: Design and develop features for our PHP application, handling presentation, business logic, and data access.

- Development Framework Evolution: Actively participate in the continuous improvement of development practices within the team.

- Testing and Deployment: Conduct unit testing, support acceptance testing, and participate in the deployment of new features.

- Support and Maintenance: Provide technical support and maintenance for developed applications.

- Technical Analysis: Perform project estimations and lead object-oriented technical analysis.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

- Location: Reside in the Greater Montreal area.
- Education: Degree in Computer Science.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of relevant PHP development experience.
- Languages: Fluent in French, both spoken and written.

Technical Skills:

- PHP Object-Oriented 7+: Expertise in modern PHP development.
- Databases: SQL (MySQL, MS SQL Server).
- Web Technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, XML, JSON.
- Laravel Framework: Knowledge is a plus.
- Web Services: Experience with REST APIs.
- Linux: Basic command-line knowledge is an asset.
- Puppeteer: Experience with automated testing is a plus.

General Skills:

- Autonomy: Ability to work independently while meeting team objectives.
- Problem Analysis and Resolution: Aptitude for proposing innovative functional and architectural solutions.
- Technical Curiosity: Interest in understanding the systems being developed in depth.
- Organization and Teamwork: Strong organizational skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
- HR Knowledge: Experience or knowledge in payroll and human resources is a plus.
