We are looking for a talented and experienced PHP Developer to join our team and play a key role in building and maintaining our web applications. You will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle, from design and implementation to testing and deployment.

What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark.

Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, secure, and scalable web applications using PHPImplement object-oriented programming principles and best practicesLeverage design patterns (GOF and PHP-specific) to create reusable and maintainable codeWork closely with designers, front-end developers, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless user experienceEnsure code adheres to OWASP Top 10 security best practices to mitigate vulnerabilitiesStay up-to-date on the latest PHP versions and their featuresUtilize a chosen PHP framework, preferably Laravel, to expedite development and leverage its functionalitiesEffectively use Git for version control and collaboration (experience with Bitbucket a plus)Implement and maintain a CI/CD pipeline for automated testing and deployment

Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed.

3+ years of experience as a professional PHP developerIn-depth knowledge of PHP syntax, semantics, and best practicesSolid understanding of object-oriented programming principlesFamiliarity with design patterns (GOF and PHP-specific)Strong commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented codeExperience with OWASP Top 10 security principles and secure coding practicesSolid understanding and experience in Laravel framework applicationsKnowledge of other PHP frameworks is a plusProficiency in Git for version controlExperience with CI/CD tools and methodologies (bonus points for experience with specific tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD)Excellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team

Bonus Points:

Experience with API development (RESTful APIs)Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, etc.)Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., PHPUnit)Experience with Docker and containerization
