Outpatient Registered Nurse/Assessor (RN)  

Westpark Changes- Sugarland

 

 

Westpark Springs Changes offers Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) programs for children and adolescents, ages 11 through 18.   Changes is a therapeutic focused program offered as a day program, some of the services we offer include Psychotherapy, psychoeducational and process groups, family and group therapy, and medication management.  We are looking for Outpatient RN to work at our Cyfair location.

Position Details

Support the organization, program and unit philosophy of careCoordinate and deliver quality general and psychiatric nursing care to patientsEnsure medical Orders are followed, initiate and follow treatment planningAct as a patient advocate at all times
Qualifications

Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing training Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of NursingCPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis, psychiatric and geriatric patients preferred. Experience in patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
