Our ideal candidate is a strong team player who desires 1.0 FTE  See new admissions, round, and cover an average census of 12 inpatients during business hoursCan be configured 5 days a week plus PTO or hospitalist mode 14 on/off Opportunity to work on the psychiatry consult-liaison service Opportunity to participate in a back-up call pool for additional compensation (APRN’s take 100% of primary call); overnight call averages 1 in 8 days

 

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

Join a dynamic behavioral health team of 1 psychiatrist and 5 advanced practice clinicians on the Brainerd campus  Access to in-house hospital medical services such as internal medicine consultation, radiology, and laboratory servicesEssentia Health - St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Brainerd includes a 14-bed inpatient psychiatry unit, which is part of a larger comprehensive behavioral health system

 

About our Behavioral Health Team:

The Essentia Health East psychiatry group is comprised of 9 adult and 3 child and adolescent psychiatrists as part of a comprehensive behavioral health program Our East Psychiatry & Behavioral Health Division provides a spectrum of care for children and adults, including inpatient psychiatric care, consult-liaison and emergency psychiatry, intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization services, and an outpatient behavioral health clinic.

 Compensation

$300,000. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production-based compensation
