Phys Staff & Proj Facilitator
The Physician Staffing & Project Facilitator is responsible for providing support and implementation of internal processes and procedures across the health system for provider staffing support as well as facilitating projects for the team. Supports Provider Services leadership in maintaining a world class centralized locum tenens provider management function within Parkview Health as well as supporting any projects related to the recruitment, onboarding and engagement of Parkview providers. Responsible for managing contracts with locum tenens providers to maximize cost savings and provider quality. Coordinates locum tenens services across the enterprise. Analyzes data and processes to identify ways to maximize revenue opportunities relative to purchased locum tenens services. Works collaboratively with operational leadership and support areas within Parkview Health, as well as preferred vendors, to ensure temporary provider staffing needs are addressed. Leads the tactical aspects of Provider Services projects to enhance the quality and efficiency of the full life cycle of providers' practice within Parkview Physicians Group. Develops and organizes plans, coordinates, communicates and controls activities of assigned projects including but not limited to locum tenens, provider recruitment, onboarding, engagement, retention and offboarding as well as provider liaison projects. Prepares weekly status updates, keeps project groups on task with the plan and provides quarterly reports to leaders. Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Business Administration or related field required. Must have at least five years of work experience in healthcare setting. Experience with process improvement methods. Experience with identifying cost savings through data driven reporting and recommendations. Experience preparing reports and presentations to communicate recommendations to leadership. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of ongoing projects and tasks. Ability to work simultaneously on multiple tasks and manage priorities and workload. Excellent data analysis skills. Proven ability to quantify revenue opportunities and cost savings. Must have knowledge of credentialing and medical staff privileging processes. Proven ability to rapidly develop effective relationships based on trust and integrity. Must have the ability to manage project plans and keep project teams on task to achieve milestones. Must be able to present complex information in a clear, precise and understandable manner.
