Physiatrist

General Summary

In collaboration with the WSRH Medical Director of Inpatient Rehabilitation and WSRH VP Medical Affairs, provides Physiatry services, diagnosis and treatment of patients within the scope of practice as defined by all applicable Federal, State and local laws, regulations and protocols, etc. and within the practitioner's particular clinical specialty area, licensure and competency level.

WellSpan Health is expanding our Physiatry services at , a tertiary care center for the WellSpan Health system. We are seeking a board qualified/board certified physiatrist to focus on inpatient consultation at our award-winning, teaching hospital in York, Pennsylvania.

Position Highlights:

Provide inpatient physiatry consultation for a 600-bed hospitalCross coverage care at nearby with a collegial team of 4 physiatristsOpportunity for some outpatient careLeadership opportunity available for those with commensurate experienceEpic utilized at all WellSpan locationsSchedule is variable and adjustable

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required orDoctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required

Licenses:

Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required orLicensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required

Courses and Training:

Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatrics or the American Osteopathic Board of Pediatrics or Board eligible. Upon Hire Required andCompletion of a Pediatric residency. Upon Hire Required
