Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding one Physiatrist to the Rehabilitation Medicine group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. The Hospital is part of NYC Health + Hospitals. Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level 1 Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, which serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island.

Perform specialized professional medical work in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Examine patients, order or perform appropriate treatments. Counsel and educate patients. Work with other members of the rehabilitation team and provide guidance and professional medical opinions. Give guidance and direction to the house staff and other members of the rehabilitation team. Participate in the teaching of the house staff. Assist the Director of Service in the administration of the service. Participate in the establishment and maintenance of standards of performance of physicians and other professional employees working in the service. Work as assigned in the in-patient wards, out-patient clinics, off service consultations, electro diagnostic consultations. Patient care; to provide direct patient care in various settings as assigned by the director of service; inpatient wards, bedside inpatient consultations, outpatient clinics, electro diagnostic laboratory, off hours on call duties Administrative support: quality assurance monitoring, performance improvement activities and other administrative duties as assigned by the director of service Graduate medical education; participate in supervision, education and evaluation of residents and medical students assigned to the Rehabilitation Medicine service Perform specialized professional medical work in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
