UMass Memorial Medical Group and the Department of Orthopedics and Physical Rehabilitation at UMass Memorial Medical Center seeks a BC/BE Physiatrist to join our team. We welcome and support physician caregivers from all Academic Ranks to apply and join us in our relentless pursuit of healing.

Join the division of Physiatry that offers a broad range of physiatry services to the Central Massachusetts region as part of the Department of Orthopedics and Physical Rehabilitation. With a long-standing history of excellence in clinical care and in orthopedic training for residents, fellows, and medical students, you will not find a larger, more comprehensive group of orthopedic subspecialists.

This position will provide the following services:

Inpatient physiatry consults at the level 1 trauma center located at the University Campus.Clinical services as part of a team that provides care at Fairlawn Rehabilitation Hospital in Worcester, MA, an acute rehabilitation hospital affiliated with UMass Memorial Health and a part of Encompass Health.

UMass Memorial Health is the largest healthcare system in Central Massachusetts. As the clinical partner of UMass Chan Medical School, you will have access to the latest technology, research, and clinical trials.

Academic rank and salary are commensurate with training and experience.

Must be BE/BC in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and eligible for a full Massachusetts State Medical License.

Centrally located, Worcester is just miles from Boston, Providence, Berkshire mountains, mountains of Vermont and New Hampshire, and beaches of Cape Cod, Martha’s Vineyard, and Nantucket. The diverse city of Worcester has nine colleges and universities including the University of Massachusetts Medical School that overlooks Lake Quinsigamond. As the second largest city in New England, it has powered a rise of biotechnology, research, manufacturing, and healthcare industries.
