TITLE: Physical Education Teacher (Two Positions) LOCATION: Alternative Center for Educational Services, Bohlen Tech Center, Watertown New York and Alternative Center for Education Services, Boak Education Center, Watertown, New York STARTING DATE: As soon as possible COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: $52,249-$59,314 . Commensurate with certification/experience in keeping with the current negotiated agreement with the BOCES Professional Association. DUTIES: The successful candidate will work collaboratively with a team of educators to provide specialized instruction and support to students with disabilities. Duties Include: + Provide instruction to students with emotional and learning disabilities. Demonstrate understanding of adapted and modified physical education strategies. + Provide students with a safe, orderly environment that is conducive to teaching and learning. + Record and report student progress. + Collaborate with colleagues in general education. + Communicate regularly and effectively with parents.
