Job DescriptionAllied Universal® is hiring a Physical Security Consultant. The Physical Security Consultant primarily conducts Physical Security Assessments via CPTED (Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design) principals and established Fairfax County Security standards of practice of all Fairfax County buildings and properties. The Physical Security Consultant will also review and provide comments for county building construction design plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform physical security assessments (PSA) at various sites throughout Fairfax County either to determine existing security vulnerabilities or to guide the installation of various types of security equipment and/or enhancementsMeet with county staff from all 46 county departments to conduct physical walk-through security assessments of county buildings, facilities, properties, and office suitesDraft written Physical Security Assessment reports, documenting key information from the physical security site walk through as well as the relevant security recommendations for each PSA reportCollaborate with the Fairfax County Security Manager to finalize all written reports and work productsReview all Fairfax County building construction design plans to ensure the proper security equipment and systems are appropriately included in the plans and also provides CPTED based recommendations for incorporation into the construction design plans.Collaborate with other Fairfax County professionals on various types of security projectsCultivate and maintain professional relationships with a variety of county professionals to facilitate and complete required work responsibilitiesEnsure proper information flow to county staff as related to their job responsibilitiesProvide clear and concise facts through communication means to include email, phone and in person contactEnsure all work is completed in a professional and timely manner in accordance with the established county standards of practice

effectively manage deadlines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):
