**The Opportunity**
In this position, the Analyst II will support Ally's Physical Security mission through timely analysis of intelligence, research, and investigative information. In this role, you will play a critical part in safeguarding our people, assets, and operations through flawless intelligence collection and analysis. You will be instrumental in developing and implementing security protocols, participating in crisis management, and ensuring the safety of our executive travel and events. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining Ally's dedication to excellence and security. This is a hybrid role in Charlotte, NC.

**The Work Itself**
* Conducts research supporting Physical Security Investigations, including background, social media, all-source, and internal analysis.
* Conducts research in support of Executive Protection, including crime analysis, demonstration activity, POI research, and trend analysis.
* Works closely with internal partners and supports enterprise security initiatives as required.
* Conducts tactical security monitoring, and advances sourced threats as required

* This position supports Physical Security operations during Incident or Crisis Management activations and conducts active monitoring of Ally sponsored events and executive travel.
* Additional responsibilities may include developing products and briefings.
**The Skills You Bring**
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Criminal Justice, Political Science, Security Studies, Emergency Management, Journalism, Communications, or a relevant field of study required.
* 1+ years of Corporate Security, Journalism, Law Enforcement, Business Analysis, Data Analytics, or Military experience.
* 1+ years direct experience in the handling of corporate security incidents.
* Deep knowledge and experience with intelligence technologies, Incident Management systems, professional Open-Source research, and corporate security environment.
* Quick to verify real-time news and write concise, accurate business reports for collaborators.
* Familiarity with conducting external threat investigations, including research, identity verification, background, and related investigatory research.
* High ethical standards with proven ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
* Understanding of geopolitical trends, emerging threats, and risks.
* Knowledge of sources including OSINT, social media, internal databases, archives, and other sources.
* Ability to provide short-notice briefings during high-stress, rapidly developing crisis situations.
* Ability to build and maintain a network of contacts in the security and intelligence sector.
* Conduct Event and Travel Monitoring and Crisis Response support.
* Ability to balance multiple competing tasks and prioritize accordingly.
* Demonstrated history of taking initiative, being self-motivated, and maintaining a focus on achieving desired outcomes.
* Association with professional security organizations preferred (ATAP, ASIS, AIRIP).
* Demonstrated experience in delivering high-quality, customer focused security documents.

An individual's position in the range is determined by the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
