Kforce has a client in Vallejo, CA that is seeking a Physical Security Network Engineer (Wireless) for a remote role. Summary: The company's core focus is physical security and hardware installation, primarily cameras, access control and alarm systems. About the Role (including Day to Day Duties): * Physical Security Network Engineer will support end-client requests for physical security and hardware installation, primarily cameras, access control and alarm systems * Design, implement, and maintain secure and efficient network infrastructure tailored to access control and alarm system installation/integration * Design/mapping of wiring on access control side * Partake with installing at client sites - access and alarm side, wiring done inside the closet, wiring into the brain of the alarm system, troubleshooting, problem solving live, etc. Project Examples: Request to put in a system on a building that doesn't have internet, but there's a primary building that does have the internet (so need to shoot that signal from one to the other): * Mesh networking (emits broad signal) * Point to point (i.e., using 2 antennas) Software side: programming within Ubiquiti dashboard; Program the point to point (this is the spectrum the Wi-Fi talks to the antenna) and remote management (tool managed through cloud, ways to track and troubleshoot)
