The Physical Security Operations Coordinator will oversee and manage security plans and systems at various sites.The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of personnel, assets, and sensitive information while coordinating risk evaluations, security measures, and the management of security teams and resources. This role requires an advanced understanding of security systems, crisis management, and safety protocols, as well as the ability to lead and train a team to maintain a secure environment across multiple locations.Responsibilities
Design, implement, and oversee comprehensive security plans to address both internal and external security needs, ensuring that security protocols are effectively followed at all levels.
Conduct regular risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and create action plans in line with security policies. Analyze security risks and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
Ensure the protection of employees and tangible company assets through the monitoring of physical security measures, including access control and surveillance systems.
Assisting in the preparation for internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit findings or recommendations.
Ensuring efficient allocation of resources to meet security needs while adhering to financial constraints. Monitor and track security-related expenditures and implement cost-effective security solutions without compromising safety.
Identify the training needs of security staff and employees, develop training programs to ensure compliance with security protocols, and raise overall security awareness within the organization.
Establish and enforce protocols for the secure entry and monitoring of visitors and key personnel, ensuring access control is tightly managed.
Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of physical security systems such as CCTV, access control systems, and surveillance cameras. Ensure systems are functioning optimally and up to date.
Manage both internal and external physical security service providers, ensuring effective deployment of security personnel and equipment at each site. Maintain positive relationships with security system vendors.
Develop and execute strategic and contingency plans to manage security crises, ensuring appropriate resource allocation and operational response in emergencies.
Develop and deliver comprehensive reports on security operations to stakeholders, outlining key security metrics, risk assessments, incident responses, and audit findings. Ensure that reports provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance security measures and align with organizational goals.
RequirementsStrong leadership and team management abilities.
Experience in security management role, with substantial experience in field operations and security coordination.
Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety engineering, Computer Systems, or a related field.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
Proficiency in security management software and tools, including CCTV systems, access control software, and video monitoring systems.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strong command of Excel for reporting purposes and PowerPoint for creating presentations to stakeholders.
Experience in security management for service-oriented companies with a focus on physical security.
Expertise in formulating strategic security plans and managing crisis situations, including the efficient allocation of resources.
B2 English Level Required.
Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Desirable knowledge in PCI DSS, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 frameworks and standards, with an understanding of how these relate to security policies and audits.
