About Our Team

The Security Technology System Sr. Administrator is responsible for the management, administration, and troubleshooting of Salesforce’s physical security systems, and related processes and operations.  Through passion for security, technical  performance, and continuous improvement, this position will play a role in enhancing and evolving Salesforce’s physical security maturity. Must operate effectively with partner teams and balance the enhancement of our physical security while keeping in step with Salesforce culture and our passion for people and community.

Primary Responsibilities (Essential Functions):

Domain expert in our physical security software and equipment and how technologies interact with them. Train others in its use and audit its operation. 

Play a role in initial escalation for incident response involving physical security technology, which may require after hours and weekend work.

Work with providers and vendors to discover and remediate vulnerabilities in security technologies

Perform security technology evaluations of other facilities, including security equipment condition, and provide summary of needed improvements.

Manage security technology vendor relationships including planning, auditing and instruction for vendor personnel working on-site.

Oversee the security technology-related ticketing system requests for Building Operations to ensure response time standards and service quality is maintained.

Excel within our entrepreneurial atmosphere – providing vision, leadership and communication, along with the ability to dive into the details.

Exercise a high level of independence and good judgment in a proactive, energetic and upbeat manner to foster positive team morale, excellent customer service, and strong leadership.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

Deep understanding of physical security technology related issues.

Solid understanding of security equipment and software as it relates to security access, cameras and alarm systems.

A passion for data, reporting, and working with Salesforce’s own products

Education/Professional Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Lenel OnGuard PACS certification(s), Milestone VMS certification(s) or other industry certifications

Experience leading physical access control system administration, and PACS system and device solve and resolution.

3+ years of corporate security or related experience

Professional Experience/Skills Preferred

Multi-disciplinary backgrounds (e.g. Security Operations  and Security Technology experience)

Prior experience in a fast-paced environment

Familiarity with Salesforce and use of our business solutions

Experience securing network and computing infrastructure

For New York-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $109,200 to $150,200.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $109,200 to $150,200.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
