The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Description

This role serves as a subject matter expert for physical security and resilience risk management technologies and physical security design. Provides expertise for new and existing products. Assists Security Operations team in launching new systems, new capabilities or improving existing capabilities, with high risk mitigation impact. Drives strategic coordination and systems road mapping in support of Enterprise Security Business Continuity prioirities. .

 

Responsibilities

Brings in depth and breadth of expertise across most physical security, resilience and workspace protection systems, specifically access control, video surveillance and other related technologies. Serves as a thought leader on technical concepts and on identification of opportunities for improvement across our risk management systems, policies, and programs. Advanced understanding and use of analytics to form arguments, assess opportunities, and measure impact on highly complex work. Accountable for establishing strategy, roadmap, and vision for majority of risk management systems. Requires advanced knowledge across all risk management programs/assets. Manages and oversees a portfolio of high impact and complex projects. Leads projects as well as implementation and evaluation of business process changes with high degree of complexity. Routinely interacts with senior leadership within the business units and offices to assess risk, discuss mitigating controls and solutions from a risk management perspective. Oversees and maintains critical relationships with security integration vendors; and regularly interacts with senior leaders to understand the global landscape & identify business processes/security systems to review. Performs highly complex research by gathering data from a variety of sources. Analyzes information to identify trends, patterns, gaps, and insights using descriptive analytics. Serves as the senior technical professional within the context of managing risk management systems and portfolio of work. Has responsibility for managing subject matter experts and project managers within portfolio of projects. Qualifications Bachelor`s degree with 8-10 years experience within physical security for office locations, risk assessment, security design, policy and security system strategy or similar experience About Us
